Good Replacement - Vision Classic B

This is a close to original replacement for the Vision classsic B series kamado grill gasket. It's more soft and cushy, but just as thick and the ideal width for the classic B. It was very easy to install -- just tacky enough to seat well, but not so tacky you cannot adjust it a bit while you apply. I had enough to do the top and bottom bowls with just over 48" left over which ought to be enough to do the stand also if you need to (which you prob do). I used a different brand for the stand and it was so thin I had to triple up to keep the kamado from wobbling on the stand. I wish I had bought the LavaLock first time. You live and learn... Also I did not receive anything for this review. I just appreciate good guidance when I buy and like to pay it forward so other people can have more tools to make a decision for their needs. Update: Still holding up good after 2 years of use. It's been uncovered outside for 1yr now (we moved) and has built up green algae/mildew in that period. Definitely no complaints. Added 2 pics from today. Also, I used "Goof off" to remove the old one and you barely need the razor blade to get it off, but that i super toxic nasty bad stuff and you may not want it close to your cooking surface. Can't vouch for that part...

This product sealed my pit where there was excessive leakage of smoke exiting around cook chamber and at the fire box openings. I would recommend this product to all of those Bar-B-Que enthusiast.

Better than Vision OEM seal

I installed this on my Vision Grills kamado, and it was easier than expected. I removed the old decrepit seal that was on there before, cleaned up the rim, and slapped this new felt on there. It didn't seem real sticky at first, but I let it sit for 24 hours (in very cold close to freezing temperatures), and it adhered just fine. I had enough to do the top and bottom seals of the lid, and also enough to redo the seal on the ash pan. The seal this provides is much better than the one seal that my kamado came with. A+

Attention to detail has great rewards.

You have to be very careful when peeling the backing away from the adhesive side. Use an exacto knife or very sharp product to start the lift of the backing. Once started it Pelosi away and the adhesive is great. Prep with alcohol or similar cleaner before applying. Nice and thick and seals the gaps well.

Perfect product to reseal smoker

This product is great. Very easy to install and works perfectly. The seal on our smoker was going bad and we bought this to replace it. It has worked great. Makes our smoker like new again. Would highly recommend this product

Easy to apply, works great. Not difficult just time consuming

The most difficult part was removing the old gasket material. I didnt cut the new gasket into pre measure strips like the instructions recomended - instead I was able to use one continuous piece around the bottom and top fo the grill. Application was easy. Next time I need to do this I'll definitely be reordering
